Flotation Cells – Bateman

Consep supplies Bateman Engineered Technologies (BET) Bateman mechanical flotation cells. Consep manufactures a wide range of cells, with a large installation list in the Australian and South East Asian mining industry. The Bateman mechanism has been designed to achieve improved flotation performance. The mechanism achieves fine bubble dispersion, high levels of solids suspension and a stable froth zone. Independent test work has concluded that the Bateman mechanism equals or betters competitive mechanisms on all performance indicators. The design has been carefully thought out to make it simple, reliable and easy to maintain. The most notable feature of the Bateman flotation mechanism is the top-hung stator. This has the advantage that the entire mechanism can be removed form the tank without the need to drain and wash out.

Consep can and has supplied the Bateman mechanism for retrofitting to other flotation cells in order to improve flotation performance and recoveries.

Consep has developed a range of custom engineered solutions for various plants, and this willingness to partner with customers to incorporate novel design features to meet specific process design requirements has led to Consep’s success with the Bateman range of flotation cells.
