Consep is proud to be a long term supplier of sampling technology to Fortescue Metals Group.
On the 26th November 2015 The Australian Financial Review reported on ‘The Beast Saving Fortescue’. The beast they were referring to is the 60m high ore processing facilities (OPF’s) used to upgrade the iron ore at FMG’s Christmas Creek site, which use a wide array of Consep sampling technology to allow process monitoring and metallurgical accounting of the plant. The OPF’s have been core to the halving of FMG’s C1 operating costs.
In October 2015, Consep was awarded the 2015 Premier’s NSW Export Awards for the Category of Minerals, Energy and Related Services presented by the Export Council of Australia. The Award recognizes NSW companies and their contribution to the state and national economy.
Consep proceeded to the 2015, 53rd National Export Awards as National Finalists.
In June 2014 Consep were selected as the supplier of a complete sampling solution for the Roy Hill Processing Plant. The package supplied includes a wide range of solids and slurry samplers, feeders, crushers, sample collectors, chute work, as well as the electrical control systems for each sample station. A total of 14 sample stations were supplied by Consep.
